Rep. Mike Gerber was among those on hand to welcome Democratic Senate candidate Bob Casey, Jr., to a Wynnewood fundraiser at the home of Teri Simon and Chris Walters on July 25.

 When asked about the current violence in the Middle East, Casey talked about his trip to Israel last November, saying that that was "a different time, a more tranquil time." 

He said he was pleased that a bi-partisan effort in Congress expressed solidarity for support for Israel and its right to defend itself against "terrorist organizations."
